How to play Symmetry Snap

A shape appears on one side of the board’s center line. Tap the cells that complete its perfect mirror image on the other side — every lit cell reflects straight across the axis, same row, mirrored column. Finish the reflection to score (faster and longer streaks pay more) and the next, bigger shape arrives with a little less time. One wrong cell ends the run. Mental mirroring is a core spatial-reasoning skill — the one architects and surgeons test on — and this is its gym. Free at Skorven, in the browser.

Tips & strategy

  • Work row by row: each lit cell’s mirror is in the same row, counted the same distance from the center line.
  • Trace the shape’s outline first, then fill — outlines mirror more reliably than scattered cells.
  • On big shapes, do the cells touching the axis first; they’re their own anchors.

Symmetry Snap FAQ

What ends a run?

Completing the shape with any cell that is not part of the true reflection. Because taps give no feedback until the shape is finished, you cannot search for the answer by trial.

Does it get harder?

Yes — shapes grow from three cells up to nine as your level climbs, and the study time barely moves.

Is Symmetry Snap free?

Completely — browser-based, no download, no signup.
